He's got the best Nan ever!
He was found passed out drunk by fellow contestants District 3 after Rylan Clark's birthday party... Oops.
2012 was the fifth year that Liverpudlian singer Christopher filled out an X Factor application form, but only the first time he'd had the courage to send it off. Those nerves followed him to his first audition, where he visibly shook throughout his performance, but was met with roaring applauses and a universal "yes" from the judges. Fast forward to boot camp, and his rendition of A Million Love Songs by Take That saw him soar through to judges houses with his mentor, Gary Barlow.
However, after failing to impress Gary with his version of Alone by Celine Dion, Christopher wasn't chosen as one of the final three for the live shows. Luckily for him, each of the judges were allowed to select a Wild Card, a rejected contestant who would battle it out with the other categories to win a place in the live finals. On the first live show, Christopher was voted back in to the competition by the public.
Despite rumours of his early nerves being an act, Christopher remains one of the most popular contestants on the show, and received the largest number of votes from the public on Halloween Week
