Before becoming a big X Factor star, Josh worked in IT sales but knew he wanted a career in music after starring in a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The band were formally known as Triple J when they auditioned as a trio for 2012 series of The X Factor.
At first they didn’t make it through to Bootcamp, but after fellow contestants Rough Copy were unable to participate in the next stages of the competition, they were given a second chance. The boys headed to Judges Houses as a new group called Union J with new member lovely George, who had originally applied as a solo artist. Their mentor Louis Walsh decided that they were one of his final three and sent them through to the live shows.
And the rest, as they say, is history...
