Bradley Wright has been jailed for 18 months.
According to reports, Amy Childs’ ex-boyfriend (who has previously served time in prison for theft) was given the sentence after being caught handling stolen goods.
A friend of the former TOWIE star said to The Sunday Mirror: "Brad called Amy from prison to tell her he was banged up and she was shocked.
"It's been hard enough coming to terms with the end of their relationship, let alone then hearing that."
They added: "There’s no going back though. Amy feels really let down.
"Her career is going from strength to strength, but it’s clear Bradley isn’t going places.
"She won’t be visiting him."
Bradley Wright and Amy Childs dated for a year after meeting in an Essex bar.
The couple seemed very much in love, with Amy telling New! Magazine: “I care for him so much. Brad tells me how beautiful I am every day. He tells me he’s so lucky…
“It’s lovely - I feel really lucky.”
However, after a year of dating, Amy discovered that Bradley had sent indecent pictures of himself to another woman.
Amy deliberated over whether or not they could still make things work, but soon decided that she would be happier if she ended the relationship for good.
