Amy Childs has revealed she was in labour for a whopping 27 hours before welcoming her baby girl

Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has opened up about giving birth to her daughter and revealed she was in labour for a good few hours - 27 to be exact.

The yummy mummy recently announced she had welcomed her little girl into the world by posting a cute snap of her daughter cradling her hand. Alongside the adorable photo, she wrote: "Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter."

Now the reality star has opened up about actually welcoming her little girl into the world and admitted she had a "bloody painful" labour. After her contractions started, Amy went straight to the hospital but had to return home because she was too early. She then got on her birthing ball, but because of the agony she was in she went back to the hospital.

Opening up on her painful experience, she explained: "My labour was so long and hard – it was 27 hours.

"I did most of it without pain relief, but I had to have an epidural in the end as it was all too much," she wrote in her new! magazine column.

Amy admitted she was "happy and relieved" when her daughter arrived and although she had to have two stiches, she added: "I feel fine. It's so true – you definitely forget the pain afterwards."

The original TOWIE cast member has admitted she's been in "total shock" since having a baby and confessed she's "overwhelmed".

It's been over a week since Amy welcomed her little girl and she has admitted although she and her partner Bradley Wright have a name they like, they're going to wait a few days until they officially name her.

We can't wait to find out what they call their bubba.

The 26-year-old mum who has admitted she's not taking maternity leave after giving birth, recently surprised fans after she shared the creative way she's using her placenta.
