Former TOWIE star Amy Childs welcomed her first child into the world in April

Lots of celebrity mums have been turning their placenta into pills, but Essex girl Amy Childs has proved just how creative she is by putting her placenta to good use.

The 26-year-old reality star recently announced she's welcomed her first child into the world. Posting an adoralbe photo of her daughter clutching her finger, she wrote on Instagram: "Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter."

How sweet!

Fans and celebrities rushed to congratulate the new-mum. Made in Chelsea's Binky Felstead wrote: "EEEEEK congratulations @MissAmyChilds!!!!! Wishing you & your new little family all the best and happiness in the world! So exciting!!"

Loose Women's Stacey Solomon also said: "Congratulations darling! I hope you and baby are safe and doing well! Rest up you deserve it! Lots of love xxx"

Before welcoming her daughter into the world, the yummy mummy admitted she was considering eating her placenta because "it's all the rage". Now, the original TOWIE cast member has admitted that not only will she eat her placenta as supplement pills but she has also turned it into a face cream and balm.

Amy shared her new placenta products in a photo on Instagram. Fans loved the idea, with one person admitting their daughter tried placenta pills too: "My daughter did this and said it was amazing gave her loads of energy."

Someone else added: "I wish I knew about this when I had my three. It was so long ago now."

Another commented: "Best thing I ever did! It's fantastic xx"

One more fan related to Amy and said: "Best thing I ever did after having my second baby! Wish I knew more about it after I had my first. The energy it gives you is amazing!!"
