The I’m a Celeb star, 21, posted a picture on mother’s day of her and 25-year-old Max, sparking rumours of a relationship.
Speaking to a UK newspaper, Amy addressed Max’s reputation as a womaniser. She said: “My experience of him is he is a very, very nice man. He’s often misunderstood. I only have positive things to say.”
While she wouldn’t actually confirm whether or not they were a couple, Amy did say she would prefer to keep her love life private.
“I don’t know what I was thinking tweeting that,” she said of the picture. “I was chatting to his mum and she was like, ‘I want more Twitter followers’, and I was like, ‘Oh I’ll help you, Babs.’
“And then it’s just gone nuts. I want to keep my love life private.”
Amy and Max are both no strangers to high profile relationships. After I’m a Celeb, Amy was linked to her fellow jungle star Joey Essex.
Max, along with his former relationship with Michelle Keegan, has been linked to stars including Lindsay Lohan.
Joey recently confirmed he is back with his former TOWIE co star Sam Faiers, and Amy said: “For me it’s all about spreading the love. I am very, very happy and I wouldn’t consider him and ex to be honest.
“So for me I am happy, he is happy, I’ve not met Sam but for me I always wish happiness on everybody.”
