Former politician and Strictly contestant Ann Widdecombe has slated Amanda Holden for her Britain's Got Talent outfit choices

We know Amanda Holden loved getting attention for the dresses she wore on the judging panel of this year's Britain's Got Talent.

She even joked that she "hoped" people would "complain to Ofcom" about her.

Well, the 46-year-old got her wish last week when it was discovered that the dress she wore to one of the BGT semi-final shows received over 200 Ofcom complaints.

Whilst celebs and viewers have jumped to her defence, saying that she looked beautiful and is allowed to wear whatever she wants, others have criticised her and said that her dress was too revealing dress for a family show.

But now, former politician and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ann Widdecombe has waded into the argument and slammed Amanda for her outfits.

The 69-year-old ripped into Amanda in her column for the Daily Express, calling her an "actress from an X-rated movie."

Hang on, Ann - are you calling Amanda a porn star simply because she wore a revealing dress?!

Ms Widdecombe then astonishingly called for Amanda to be sacked from the show - purely based on her outfit choices.

She wrote: "ITV bosses will not be doing their job if they do not warn her under pain of being sacked. Children do not need to see such exposure paraded as glamour and something to emulate."

She then went on to throw "shame" at Amanda: "Shame on Amanda Holden and shame too on the producers who let her appear in such a state of undress."

Ann then ended by saying: "Thanks to them, family television has just descended a bit further into sleaze and sexualisation."

Blimey.

What do you think of Ann's comments? Do you think she is right to call for Amanda's sacking? Or do you think she should mind her own business on what people wear? Let us know over on Facebook and Twitter.
