Ariana Grande’s record company has donated half a million dollars to the fund for the victims of the Manchester bombing and their families.
Universal Music Group has put forward $500,000, or £390,000, to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund after a terrorist blast in the city last month.
Pop star Arian’s concert goers and their families were subject to the horrendous incident at one of the musician’s gigs at the Manchester Evening News arena, which left 23 dead and many more injured.
A representative for the record label said: “The Universal Music Group global family is proud to stand with Ariana Grande and its other performing artists in their support for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack.”
The American star arrived back in the UK this week ahead of the One Love Manchester concert which is amazing to raise funds for the bombing victims and their families.
The event takes place at the Old Trafford cricket ground on Sunday and features stars including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Take That and Miley Cyrus among others.
Ariana visited recovering victims at the Royal Manchester Children’s hospital on Friday after arriving back in Britain.
Posting a picture of his recovering daughter Jaden online after the star visited her bedside, Peter Mann wrote: “This means more to us than all the amazing things people have done this week.
“When your daughter asks after her 2nd operation, ‘Is Ariana OK?’ So happy she came I could burst! Never seen Jaden so happy! Even cried again myself!”
Jaden added herself on Twitter: “I got to meet my queen today. Love your Ariana Grande.”
