Yesterday, Nick Carter took to Instagram to share the first picture of his ten day old son, Odin, with us al and he is all kinds of beautiful!
The former Backstreet Boy welcomed his first child with his wife - actress Lauren Kitt - on April 19 after 30 hours of intense labour all while still maintaining their wishes to have a home birth.
A source told E! Online: "She had a very difficult labour.
It was hard on her. Of course, there was a happy ending!"
Lauren even told E!about her pretty chilled out home birth plan:
"We don't have a to-go bag because we are planning a home birth if all goes to plan. If [Nick] wants to film it, he can. I'm getting him a snorkel and mask."
Odin, a name derived from German mythology that means "widely revered god" was always the couple's first choice.
Before the birth, Ryan states that they already had a name in mind.
"We can't say the name yet. I’ve been instructed by my wife to keep it under wraps, but we have a name."
