Virgin Media’s Louder Lounge at V Festival in Chelmsford, that’s what. Luckily Closer Online was right in the thick of it to bring you all the gossip from the weekend.
The theme this year was the circus – and they definitely put on an amazing show for the guests.
In the centre was a huge white bandstand, surrounded by luxury food carts serving delicious food, mini boutiques where the celebs could pick up a few freebies (we’re looking at you, Rochelle Humes!), and dominating one end was the huge bar area.
Just like us, the stars LOVE a free drink. Mark Wright, Alexandra Burke and Tom Pearce were among the celebs we saw queueing for drinks – and Ella Eyre was seen taking a break from partying and playing a bit of Guitar Hero.
Elsewhere the gorgeous and inspirational Katie Piper was chilling with her fiancé James, looking very loved-up and posing for cute selfies, and EastEnders star Preeya Kalidas was throwing shapes in the main dance area.
Even the torrential rain didn’t dampen their spirits! Former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts came prepared with a stylish pair of boots and was happily darting all over the place, clearing loving life, and TOWIE’s Tom donned a plastic poncho and STILL managed to look gorgeous.
But not all of the stars were on their best behaviour. X Factor runner-up Fleur East rejected a fan’s request for a picture, insisting she just ‘wanted to enjoy the festival’, and a very hungover-looking Kaya Scodelario (Skins’ Effy) was spotted enjoying a beer and a cigarette at 10am on Sunday!
While some famous faces were clearly not bothered about being seen by fans, such as Pixie Lott, who looked stunning all weekend, some tried to go incognito.
On Sunday Alexandra hid behind huge sunglasses and an oversized bomber jacket, Leigh Francis covered his face with a bucket hat and even Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis managed to go unnoticed in a cap and shades.
And who were the celebs looking forward to seeing on stage? EVERYONE said Calvin Harris, and Mark Wright couldn’t stop gushing about the ‘legendary’ DJ.
After overindulging all weekend, we bet the stars, just like us, are nursing some sore heads this morning – but we’re already looking forward to next year!
