According to reports, Ben, 36, and 37-year-old Abby are struggling to sell their £1.75million house and, as a result, the rugby hunk has been forced to give up his bachelor pad.
He was said to be struggling with paying both their mortgage and his rent – and was left with no choice but to move back in with his former wife and twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle.
An insider told The Sun: “Ben thought he’d be able to sell the house and rent somewhere for Abby and the kids before their divorce went through.
“But there’s been little interest and the cost of the mortgage and renting has become very expensive. He gets to see his kids more, but I’m told it has been really awkward for him and Abby.”
Ben and Abby’s alleged frosty reunion comes after she blasted Kristina, 37, for ‘stealing her husband’.
She said: “He’s done the dirty on me. I want people to know. My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f***ing Russian dancer.”
Ben and Abby married in 2003, but confirmed their separation last year – following his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing the year before, during which he was partnered with Kristina.
Kristina recently defended her relationship with Ben, insisting: ‘He left his wife a year ago!’
