She’s put on some show stopping performances during this year’s series but now Bindi Irwin has officially been crowned as winner of Dancing With The Stars.

Bindi, 17, and dancing partner Derek Hough were awarded two sets of perfect scores before it was revealed that she had beaten off competition from rival Nick Carter for the top prize.

Sharing an emotional picture of her and Derek clutching their disco ball trophy, Bindi wrote on her Instagram page: “I am speechless. This is a gift and I can't tell you how much love I have for all of your support throughout this beautiful journey. My life has been changed.”

Throughout her time on the show Bindi has dedicated her performances to her later father Steve Irwin, who was killed by a stingray when she was just 8-years-old.

She explained: “I wish he could fully understand how much he’s done for me… And that I miss him.”

Fabulous work, Bindi!
