Binky Felstead has struck a name off the list of possibilities for her unborn baby after finding out a star of The Only Way Is Essex is a fan of the same moniker.
Made In Chelsea’s Binky and her boyfriend Josh ‘JP’ Paterson had been considering the name India for their first child together.
But Binky’s series co-star Ryan Libbey claims the identity is no longer a favourite of the couple after they discovered it would not be unique in the world of reality star offspring.
Ryan told The Sun: “They did have a name in mind for the baby but then they realised that someone else in the public eye just had a baby called the same name.
“It was someone from The Only Way Is Essex or something like that, I can’t remember but the baby was called India.
“They’ve gone against it purely because someone’s beat them to it.”
Ryan did not identify the person he was referring to but former TOWIE cast member Amy Childs had previously said she liked the name India for her little girl.
However, after welcoming her baby to the world with her boyfriend Bradley Wright last month, Amy decided to go with the name Polly.
“Her full name is Polly Childs-Wright, “she told OK! “We liked the traditional names. Before the birth we liked India… another name was Elsie and she definitely isn’t an Elsie. Brad suggested Polly first. It’s a bit unusual.”
