Binky Felstead reveals why breastfeeding baby India in public bothers her

Binky Felstead only recently gave birth to her daughter India and now she has been totally honest and revealed that she doesn't feel comfortable breastfeeding in public.

The mum-of-one appeared on Lorraine alongside Tamara Ecclestone, who in the past has been very open about breastfeeding her three-year-old daughter, to discuss how some mums are afraid of breastfeeding in public.

Binks previously spoke on This Morning about the scary feeling of breastfeeding in public, she explained: "[It] was really scary for me, because obviously it was the first time I'd ever done it before."

Now, she has confirmed the real reason she embarrassed to breastfeed in public and it's because of the uncomfortable looks she receives from the public. The 27-year-old yummy mummy explained: "I've never had to get my boob out in public before and when I have done, I have had people staring and the odd look is 'put it away'.

"It makes me really flustered; trying to get the baby under the shawl, onto the boobs, it just creates a lot of people staring."

The reality star went on to admit that she still doesn't feel very comfortable feeding her little one in public, even though she ventured out by herself, she explained: "If you get your boob out, the attention is on the boob and not what you're doing.

"I hope I do man up and go 'hang on this is my baby it's the most natural thing in the world that I'm doing' but at the moment it is still bothering me."

Tamara Ecclestone who has been very open and honest about her views on breastfeeding also spoke about feeding her little one in public and admitted she never felt that she was being watched while breastfeeding in public. She then added that if she did, she would have confronted the person.

The formula 1 heiress went on to slam people who judge mums who breastfeed in public as body shaming and revealed she hopes the stigma will change. She explained: "I feel like we have to stick together as women.

"There's enough with the opinion, shaming and trolls… I feel like something has got to change because I don't feel that things are going in the right direction."
