Former Blue Peter host Zoe Salmon, who got engaged to William Corrie last November in Barbados, has revealed that the pair have wed at the Sandy Lane resort.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Zoe explained: “I can't wait to get home and tell everyone.
“I didn't even tell my mum and dad, although running off to get married does run in the family so they will be thrilled for us.”
She told the magazine that her wedding dress was a beaded gown with a long train by designer Berta.
She also added that she wants a big party when they’re home, because she wants an excuse to wear her dress and ‘feel the magic again’.
The couple have been together for five years this month after meeting at a friend’s wedding and Zoe was shocked when William proposed late last year.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, she said: “We hadn't talked about marriage, so when he proposed I was really surprised, and when he presented the ring I was doubly surprised.”
The 36 year old started her career when she won Miss Northern Ireland in 1999, before turning to presenting and appearing as a contestant in Dancing on Ice in 2009.
