Catherine Tyldesley recently wrote a wonderful piece for fellow yummy mummies-to-be about exercising those pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy, but fans of the pregnant Corrie star were bowled over by the fitness fan's appearance on a recent episode of ITV's Let's Do Lunch.

Guest starring alongside Gino D'Acampo and Melanie Sykes in a VERY Christmassy studio, Catherine wore a fitted red dress that showed off her slender waist and flat stomach.

Which, considering she's due to give birth in the new year, left fans puzzled over where her baby bump had disappeared to.

But there was a very simple explanation for it all - and the clue was in the appearance of Mel, who had only just exited the I'm A Celeb 2014 jungle just a short while before.

That's right; despite the studio being adorned with Christmas trees and decorations and the audience wearing Santa hats, the episode wasn't even filmed in the right season.

Catherine herself explained: "Hope you're enjoying Gino and Mel. Thankyou for comments- dress is from @Hybrid_Fashion…

"…and for those confused over the lack of baby bump- it was pre recorded in summer!!"

Phew!

Catherine, who plays Eva Price in Coronation Street, is not the only celebrity to have come under fire for a disappearing baby bump.

Remember when everyone decided that Beyonce had faked her pregnancy with Blue Ivy after her bump appeared to 'deflate' as she sat down for an interview with Molly Meldrum in Australia?

Thank goodness 31-year-old Catherine, who recently revealed that she's expecting a boy with fiancé Thomas Pitfield, was able to quell conspiracy theories MUCH quicker than Bey, eh?
