It's all kicking off about Storm Doris

The UK is in the grips of a fierce and violent weather frenzy.

It seems as though all hell has broken loose as the country has been thrown into chaos - travelling is a complete no-no and many people have been seriously hurt.

But we can't ignore the slight irony that the storm has been named Doris, as the first thing that springs to most minds is a kindly old woman, not a terrifying "weather bomb", as people are now calling it.

With winds reaching a massive 94mph in some parts of the UK, it's no wonder really that people are becoming increasingly concerned, especially as some areas have also been affected snow and horrendous rain as well as rather strong gusts.

Traffic has also been plunged into trouble by the storm, as many roads are blocked and train lines have also been very hectic.

Not only that, but airports have been cancelling flights left, right and centre. Ferries have also been cancelled from the Isle of Man.

Worryingly, the Northern Powergrid has reported that almost 900 homes have been left without power in Sheffield.

But to lighten the mood, we've rounded up the best celebrity tweets about Storm Doris.

Ted Reilly, who plays Johnny Carter in EastEnders, had some advice for Doris.

His on-screen brother, however, had some advice for members of the public.

And their co-star Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, was typically suave about the storm.

Verity Rushworth, who plays Donna in Emmerdale, updated her followers of the situation in case they weren't aware.

Sophie Austin, who played Evil Lindsay in Hollyoaks, gave us a completely different mental image.

Her co-star Kieron Richardson, who plays Ste Hay in the soap, was NOT happy about the storm.

Neither was The Xtra Factor presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.

And neither was comedian Jon Richardson who is a victim of the Isle Of Man's no ferries situation.

Poor ole Rav Bansal of Great British Bake Off 2016 fame was having a bit of a tough time too.

McFly's Harry Judd, however, found the whole thing a bit, well... boring.

Can someone give The X Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry a cuddle, please?

And will everyone please give Johnny Vegas the most sympathy that they can muster? Where on EARTH would you start with this?!
