Yet another bitter blowout exploded last week between Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell when the Irish model reportedly branded the actress – who is mum to his six-month-old son Caben and who he claimed recently is pregnant with his baby again – a “slag with two kids.”
But someone who knows just how hard it is to live through and finally leave a destructive romance – especially when there’s a child involved – is Chanelle Hayes.
The former model, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2007, had her own relationship torment when she dated late star Jade Goody’s ex Jack Tweed – who she says called her an “ugly c**t” and who was reportedly arrested for harassing her in October 2014 but denied the claims.
Chanelle, 29, first began dating Jack in 2010 while pregnant with her son Blakely, now six. The couple were on and off for three years and Chanelle admits while she knew the relationship was doomed, she delayed leaving Jack because she craved the “happy family” ideal.
She says: “I was in a toxic relationship with Jack and it was hell. Like Steph and Jeremy, we were on and off all the time and had the explosive fights on social media.
From experience, I know that it will only get worse. Steph and Jeremy are worse than we were – they’re already reaching breaking point. She needs to leave the relationship and not let Jeremy back into her life – she could risk losing Caben.”
