The Celebrity Big Brother stars are planning a dinner after Preston, 32, found out 31-year-old Chantelle had been saying nice things about him in the press.
Chantelle and Preston met on the reality show in 2006, when she was the first ever 'non-celebrity' to feature on the showbiz special.
We all watched the pair fall in love, and they went on to get married soon after leaving the house.
But it didn't last and they released a joint statement in June 2007 revealing they were separating, divorcing in November that year.
However Chantelle, who is mum to daughter Dolly, two, from her relationship with Alex Reid, has hinted there is hope yet for the couple.
She recently told new!: "I'll always feel sad about the break up with Preston. I still love him. We've always had something."
It seems that Preston agrees, as Chantelle wrote in her latest column for the magazine: "[Preston] got in touch recently and said, 'I hear you've been saying nice things about me'.
"We're planning on getting together for dinner. I'm looking forward to catching up with him."
While Chantelle is still on good terms with her ex husband, the same can't really be said for the father of her child.
Following their split in 2012, Chantelle took to Twitter to blast Alex and his cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne.
She wrote: "I fount text messages on Alex's phone when [Dolly] was 6 weeks old, it was too a man and he was arranging to meet up with him as Roxanne for sex.
"Oh and yes when I was 8 months pregnant Alex turned my house into a sex dungeon and I slept on my flat floor for days… Cos I couldn't come home [sic]."
