Following the breakdown of her second marriage late last year there’s been little love lost between Cheryl and her estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Earlier this year reports surfaced that Jean-Bernard was planning a tell-all book, which was followed by claims Cheryl, 32, started dating current boyfriend, Liam Payne, 22, whilst she was still with Jean-Bernard - something both she and Liam denied.
But last week there was a new bombshell when news broke that Jean-Bernard had moved on with Cheryl’s former pal, Vanessa Perroncel.
Insiders say Cheryl has reached out to former WAG Vanessa, 32, to try and help broker a truce to speed up divorce proceedings between her and Jean-Bernard."
The source added: "Cheryl feels that Jean-Bernard is stalling on their divorce and just wants everything to be resolved.
"Vanessa assured her she would do whatever she could to help the situation. Cheryl finally feels like she has a glimmer of hope now she has a connection to Jean-Bernard and they can start talks."
