Sources say Cheryl has endured a week from hell. Just as she was separated from Liam Payne as he hit the Las Vegas club scene, reports surfaced of a secret tape between her and ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Just days after their divorce hearing, details emerged of a 45-minuted recording of a raging Cheryl, 33, who was allegedly heard ordering JB, 36, to leave their house just five months into their 19-month marriage.
A source says: "Cheryl was in a bit of a state when she found out about the tape and was worried about the impact it could have on her reputation – not to mention the effect the coverage might have on her relationship, as she's scared the scandal could even drive Liam away."
And as the Girls Aloud star was left in London dealing with the drama, Liam was pictured letting off steam in Las Vegas, and sources say this was hard for Cheryl.
"Cheryl trusts Liam implicitly and knows he adores her, but it was still difficult being apart at this time."
