There’s good news for Cheryl who is finally getting divorced from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini later this week.
Cheryl surprised the world in 2014 when she announced that she was married to Jean-Bernard on Instagram. She has now deleted the photo of her wedding ring but the caption read: “I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14… We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.”
However, in December last year the pair split after being married for 18 months and Cheryl filed for divorce for ‘irreconcilable differences’.
At the time a source revealed that the pair split up in August last year. And now, according to the Daily Mirror almost a year after filing for divorce the pair are to finalise their divorce on Thursday.
A source said: “The decree nisi will be read out on Thursday.
“This has been the result of months of negotiations, but Cheryl and JB reached an agreement two months ago.
“And there has been no financial settlement. JB is not going to be paid any money by Cheryl,” they told The Sun.
The source also revealed that she will not change her last name straightaway because it takes time, however: “She is in a great place at the moment, and is really happy with Liam.”
Since splitting with Jean, the 33-year-old singer has begun dating One Direction member Liam Payne and there are rumours that the pair are expecting their first child together.
After her face appeared fuller in a L’Oreal advert and her mum was spotted buying pregnancy items many people have speculated whether the pop star is pregnant.
An onlooker who attended the L’Oreal Paris Gold Obsession party told Closer: “All eyes were on her at the event and many people noticed she looked a little bigger.
“Cheryl seemed keen to only be pictured from certain angles.”
Cheryl has previously confessed in an interview with GQ that she’s obsessed with babies: “I know that is what I was put on Earth to do – to be a mother.”
