But Cheryl, 33, has been pictured looking downcast on a couple of occasions recently and friends say she's struggling to accept where she is in her life and having a crisis of confidence.
A pal tells this week's Closer magazine: "Cheryl's conflicted over being with someone 10 years younger amid rumours she's pregnant with his child.
"The crisis is exacerbated by the fact she's still waiting for her divorce from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini to be finalised."
Friends of the pair say Liam has suggested Cheryl join him on his worldwide promotional tour next year as he launches his solo career, but she's not keen at all and is worried he will be so busy "he might not be able to be there to offer support."
But a source says: "Cheryl wants to avoid the spotlight, which may not be possible if Liam goes on tour.
"But she loves him and is still determined to make their relationship work."
