Cheryl is reportedly heading back to work as a pop star after her maternity leave and is heading out to America to record a fifth solo album.

The former Girls Aloud singer welcomed baby Bear to the world in March with her One Direction star boyfriend Liam Payne.

She has since taken a step from public life as she cares for her son but was seen at the American Embassy in London this week where she was apparently applying for a temporary visa.

And it seems she’s planning to reignite her music career with the help of some musical experts across the pond.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “Cheryl’s got a longer US visa so she can go back and forth more frequently to the States.

“She hasn’t started working on the new album yet as she is still enjoying her time off with Bear.

“She’s loved their time together as she adjusted to being a mum and is still easing herself back into work.

“But she is looking to getting out there and starting recording. She still has ambitions as a singer and will be a working mum.”

The star met with record label bosses at Polydor back in May to discuss her comeback after releasing her last album Only Human in 2014.
