Coleen Rooney has taken sons Kai, six, Klay, three and five month old Kit to France to watch their dad and her husband Wayne Rooney in the UEFA Euro 2016.
The mum of three has also being spotted taking the three children to Disneyland, but Coleen wanted to give her boys a chance to see their dad perform in one of his last major tournaments.
Kai has been allowed by his private school to head to France, so long as he does his homework and completes tasks so he doesn’t fall behind in lessons.
A source has told The Mirror: “Coleen is a fantastic mum and does things by the book.
"She requested permission from the head and it was granted – with the provison that Kai was set some work during his time watching his dad.”
Back in 2014, Coleen was slammed for “dragging” Kai and Klay to Brazil to watch Wayne play in the World Cup.
At the time she revealed that she took her boys to Brazil because she didn’t want them to grow up and ask why they didn’t go to watch their dad in the World Cup.
“Even though they’ve had that experience and they probably won’t remember it, at least they’ve got the photographs and hopefully they’ll get to go to the next one,” she told Hello! in 2014.
Parents of children who are educated by schools controlled by local authorities can be fined for unauthorised absences, however it is not illegal for children in private schools to be taken out of school during term time.
30 year old Coleen was also hit by critism recently for "going on 10 holidays a year".
However she hit back saying: “I’m privileged that I'm able to go on holiday, and if anyone else had the opportunity they would go."
