Congratulations are in order for Alan Carr who has revealed that he is getting married to his long term partner, Paul Drayton. His boyfriend proposed to him last week while the couple were on holiday in Lombok, Indonesia.

The TV show host explained how Paul popped the question: "I went to the toilet and came out to eat dessert.

"And then I was like, 'Oh my God, a filling's come out, just my luck on holiday.

"I pull it out and it's this ring and then the man on the organ starts singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight," he told The Sun.

He revealed that the staff at the restaurant began to sing the song but they didn't know the lyrics: "So they just said, 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight? Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' ... So it was my idea of hell, but of course I said yes."

Aww we're so happy for you Alan!

He also revealed that for the wedding he'll get his close friend Adele to sing Someone Like You.

Alan also confessed that his wedding is going to be "Dry like Saudi Arabia" after confessing in his book Alanatomy that his partner has struggled with an alcohol addiction.

"To be honest, it was a tough year for my Paul last year. He had a few issues with alcohol, and a lot of time that was because I was away so much.

"I was out there, working hard, earning the money, and I neglected my personal life, really, so I feel a little bit to blame for that."

However, he has revealed that Paul is now fantastic: "He has the occasional drink but I've cut down loads as well.

"I want to be there for him because he's the best thing that's happened to me and I've got to support him and everything."

Aww.

And if you're wondering whether the happy couple will have kids soon, Alan has said that he has no plans to have children, he told The Mirror: "I am so not broody.

"I don't have a fatherly bone in my body. I struggle with two dogs, I forget to feed them sometimes, let alone a baby.

"Plus, everyone who has kids looks terrible. I see people and say, 'Are you on crack?' and they’re like, ‘No, I’ve got two kids’. Paul luckily isn’t into kids either.'"
