It seems as if Tina O’Brien is FAR luckier in love than her Corrie alter-ego, Sarah-Louise Platt.

The stunning actress has confirmed to OK! Magazine that she is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend of five years, Adam Crofts, after he popped the question in a candlelit bedroom at Manchester’s Disbury House Hotel.

Tina told the magazine: “I’m really happy. I’m with my best friend.

“I said to my mum the other day: ‘I’m so lucky, not only do I love him but I fancy him as well.’”

The mum-of-two added: “Adam’s seen me at my lowest and also my best.

“We’ve been together five years so he knows me so well.”

The couple have a son, Beau, two, together, as well as Sarah’s daughter Scarlett, nine, from a previous relationship with Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas.

She and the Jason Grimshaw actor split one year after she gave birth to their daughter, leaving her devastated.

Tina told a magazine at the time: “About a week before Scarlett's first birthday, he said he didn't love me any more.

“He said I didn't do it for him any more. Those were his words.

“I was absolutely devastated. He said he didn't want the responsibility of a relationship with me.”

However she and Ryan have since formed a strong friendship, working alongside one another on the ITV soap and raising their daughter together in the best way possible.

She told The Mirror: “Ryan was pleased I was coming back, he has been really supportive. From the very early stages I discussed it with him.

“He was really good about it and he said it would be brilliant for me.

“We are lucky. We are a very modern family. We spent Christmas morning all together this year for the first time. It was lovely.”

N’aww - we bet he’s made up for her that she’s found happiness with Adam.

Congratulations to Tina and her husband-to-be; we can’t wait to read all about THAT romantic proposal in this week’s issue of OK! Magazine.
