Danielle Lloyd’s plans to wed her fiancé Michael O’Neill may be taking a backseat, and she has admitted that she plans to be pregnant by next year.

The two only recently got engaged, and she has insisted that she’s in “no rush” to walk down the aisle again.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she revealed that she wanted to be sure Michael was ready to commit to her and her three sons that she shares with ex Jamie O’Hara.

She said: "I needed commitment and security from him and wanted to be sure he was serious. Not just for me, but for the boys as well.

“I didn’t want them becoming attached to someone who would be gone the next minute. They’ve had enough grief in their life with losing people.”

She also confessed that she hopes to be pregnant by next year – with a girl this time to balance out her testosterone filled home.

Speaking about her upcoming nuptials, she said: “Marriage is really just a little bit of paper. I think as long as you’re happy… I’ve learnt from the past that you can stand there and say your vows, but you don’t mean them.

“Michael’s parents aren’t married, and they’ve been together for 30 years and couldn’t be happier. There’s no rush. But I know that when I do get married again, it’ll be an amazing time and I’ll be happy. And it will be for good!”

She divorced Jamie in 2014 on the grounds of his adultery, and she’s struggled to stay on good terms with the former England player. In June of this year, it was reported that her fiancé Michael assaulted him in a furious row reportedly over car seats, which escalated when Michael confronted him over claims of a threesome during his two-year marriage to Danielle.
