Danniella Westbrook has reportedly been discharged from rehab.
The 43 year old actress checked herself into a facility in Spain earlier this year, seeking help to battle her demons once and for all.
She was receiving treatment to help her deal with the traumatic events of the past year. Not only did she split from her boyfriend George Arnold, but she also suffered a miscarriage and had a drug-related relapse.
However, reports suggest that the former EastEnders actress is now free to leave the facility, just weeks after letting her fans know that she was in a good place.
According to The Sun, Danniella is feeling “totally clean and refreshed” and her doctors are sure that she’s well enough to return to the UK and be with her family.
A source said: “Danniella has been released from rehab and has satisfied the therapist that she was in a good place.
“They have said whenever she is back in the area, she can come in as a day patient, and have told her they hope her journey going forward continues that way."
Despite being given the go-ahead to leave, Danniella is reportedly spending a few days in Spain to relax before heading home.
“She’s in the area for a few days resting and enjoying the sunshine, but totally clean and refreshed,” the source continued.
In recent posts, fans have noticed a positive change in Danniella’s attitude and believe she is genuinely on her way to recovery.
She recently updated her followers, saying: “Rehab… I smashed it. This girl is clean, clever and in control of her own destiny,”
