Last week Louise Redknapp opened up about her marriage and explained what was behind her separation from her former footballer husband Jamie, after nearly 20 years.
The singer chatted to Stella Magazine and said that her marriage had left her feeling like a 'Stepford wife' and while being apart wasn't easy, it was something she felt she had to do.
It was certainly a shock to fans when it was revealed the Redknapps were living apart earlier this year as they had always seemed like a particularly strong showbiz couple.
And while there have been reports that Louise's candid interview upset Jamie so much he refused to watch her perform in the touring production of Cabaret in which she plays the lead role of Sally Bowles, there is perhaps light at the end of the tunnel for these two.
An unnamed source has spoken to NOW Magazine divulging that Louise and Jamie are actually enjoying some super secret date nights in the hope they'll bring back some romance to their relationship.
They said: "Louise has been turning down social invites in favour of time with Jamie and has been giggling like a love-struck teen every time she says the sentence, 'I’ve got a date with my husband'.”
The source continued: "At one point, Louise was worried her sudden thirst for a career would spell the end of family life as she knows it.
"But date nights with Jamie have helped them get to know each other again and he understands how important this is to her."
