Davina McCall usually can’t seem to put a foot wrong, but she appears to have riled up Saturday Kitchen viewers after her appearance on the show this morning.
The 49-year-old mother of three has embarked on a huge health and fitness journey over the past few years, which has seen her releasing workout DVDs, cookery books and mobile apps to share her knowledge.
So, considering she is releasing a brand new book, Sugar Free In A Hurry, it seemed that she would be the perfect fit for a slot on Saturday Kitchen, where she could talk to host and chef, Michael Roux Jr.
However, it didn’t go down well with viewers who accused the presenter of taking over the show.
Davina recently filled in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning and many called for her to have a regular slot because she was a great host.
She has also hosted many other successful shows, such as Big Brother, Street Mate and One Year Later.
But today, her appearance has left viewers with some very mixed reviews.
Some have even gone so far as to say they would never watch Saturday Kitchen if she was on it again.
However, despite those who weren’t Davina’s biggest fans, others came forward to praise her and offer their support.
They were also amazed at Davina’s brilliant French.
At the start of the show, she began a conversation with Michael Roux Jr in the beautiful language and few people knew that she could speak it.
But after explaining that her mother is French, Davina went on to explain that it must be where she gets her love of food from.
