We all know Linda Henry best as EastEnders’s Shirley Carter.
Which means that we’re used to seeing her in skinny jeans, leather boots, and an agonised expression (because, let’s face it, life in Walford ain’t exactly a picnic!).
However the soapstar decided to step away from her character’s wardrobe when she headed out to the launch of Amy Child’s new fashion range.
Stepping out in a figure-hugging black and white mini-dress, Danny Dyer’s on-screen mum looked cool, calm, and confident on the red carpet.
And there’s no denying that she commanded attention from everyone she came across!
Gillian Taylforth, who plays Kathy Beale on the BBC One soap, was so blown away by Linda’s new look that she took to Twitter.
Sharing a photo of the soapstar posing confidently against the bar, Gillian wrote: “Linda Henry (Shirley) looked stunning last night!!?”
And she wasn’t kidding.

The clip, which was aired on It’ll Be Alright On The Night, just goes to show how well the Carter clan get on off-screen.
