Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe are expecting a baby.
The Oscar-winning actor is going to be a dad for the first time with Hannah after the couple got married a year ago.
A pal of the star told The Sun: “Eddie and Hannah are delighted and extremely excited.
“They don’t want to find out the sex of the baby but are happy to tell close friends and family they’re expecting.
“It’s been a year to remember for Eddie after winning an Oscar and now becoming a dad.”
Eddie won the Best Actor gong for his portrayal of Professor Stephen Hawking in movie The Theory of Everything.
The star was seen flying back to the UK from Los Angeles with his wife for Christmas yesterday.
Their baby is said to be due in June.
