Peter Andre's wife Emily MacDonagh has credited her super-fast baby weight loss to breastfeeding

Emily MacDonagh looks pretty darn amazing after having two babies.

So amazing, in fact, that some people have been left wondering what fitness regime she used to lose all her baby weight after giving birth to her second baby with hubby Peter Andre last November.

But the 27-year-old has now refuted rumours that she had any kind of fitness training after the birth of baby Theo - and put it all down to breastfeeding.

In her OK! column this week, she wrote: "I'm lucky that I've snapped back after both of mine, but I haven't really done anything apart from breastfeeding."

She added that whilst she's aware it's not for everyone, breastfeeding keeps her in shape: "I know it doesn't apply to everyone, but for me when I'm breastfeeding, I have to eat a lot to keep weight on, because you burn 600 calories a day from doing it, so I ended up losing quite a bit of weight with the breastfeeding after having Millie and Theo."

Hang on - 600 calories a day?! That's better than an hour in the gym!

Emily went on to muse over the heavy judgement that new mothers receive, whether they lose weight or whether they don't: "People assume I have a personal trainer or say things like, 'Well you've got nannies to look after the kids so you can exercise and diet.' That's not the case at all. You just can't win!"

Emily recently opened up in her OK! column about finding motherhood quite lonely.

She praised Catherine Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, for speaking out about the issue: "A few weeks ago, HRH the Duchess of Cambridge spoke about how motherhood can be lonely sometimes, and I completely agree.

"It’s reassuring to hear that someone like that feels the same, and you can see how it could contribute to postnatal depression."

An overwhelming 85% of Closer Online readers agreed with Emily, answering "yes" to the question: "Did you ever feel lonely when your children were very young?"

But lucky Emily is not the only celeb mum who is quick to lose their baby weight - [Liam Payne] recently revealed that [Cheryl] completely lost her baby weight only two months after giving birth to baby Bear!

The 23-year-old new dad told Capital FM: "Pregnancy is hard to deal with, it’s that first pair of jeans you can’t get into and she thinks she’s massive but she's lost everything.

"She’s lost all the baby weight and she’s like ‘Oh, I’m so big’ and I’m looking at her going ‘You are insane, woman!’"
