Farrah Abraham is on the receiving end of a pretty hefty Twitter backlash, after her child's school portrait appeared to show the youngster wearing make up.

The Big Brother star, who appears to have put her CBB spat with Aisleyne Horgan behind her, caused fresh controversy when she posted a pic of 6-year-old Sophia, appearing to wear eyeshadow and mascara in her 'first day in first grade' picture.

Captioning the snap: "#PictureDay #SchoolPictures Sophia is so beautiful! 1st Grade Photos #MomMonday #MakeLifeBetterInAWord Blessed', the 24-year-old mum was soon inundated with messages from angry users.

One fan asked: "Does your lil girl have makeup on?", while another added, "Make up is NOT for little girls, wtf are you teaching her? She is beautiful".

However others jumped to her defence, with one fan writing: "Beautiful !! and there is nothing wrong with letting children wear makeup for special occasions".

Farrah's parenting skills previously came under fire in 2013, when she admitted to waxing then 4-year-old Sophia's brows.

Defending her actions she said:

“I got a lot of fan mail from girls who were younger who did have unibrows and they only wished that their moms would have helped them".

“It’s not that I’m telling my daughter that she’s not beautiful. And to be honest with you, she was sleeping.”
