The reason Fearne Cotton keeps her children off social media is totally understandable
If you follow Fearne Cotton on social media you'll now that she rarely posts photos of her children and if she does she always keeps their faces hidden.
In the past she's sparked a debate after posting a photo of her daughter and now the radio presenter has opened up and revealed the real reason she keeps her little ones away from the limelight and we totally understand.
The 35-year-old who is a mum to four-year-old Rex and one-year-old Honey explained she wants them to keep a private life for as long as possible.
"I don't want them to be singled out at school. It's up to them if they want to be in the industry," she told The Mirror.
Although a lot of other parents (including celebrities) are open with their children on social media, Fearne admitted she's going to wait a few years: "I want them to make the decision for themselves when they're older.
"I show the back of their heads so people never know what they look like or anything about them, but I still get to show parts of my family life, which is something that's really important to me."
We totally understand that.
The yummy mummy, who is currently promoting her recipe book, proved just how relatable she is, when she confessed that her kids don't eat the same meals as herself and husband Jesse Wood.
She told the publication: "I WISH they would eat like us!
"They both eat proteins like fish and sausages and carbs, but Rex loves eggs, while Honey won’t look at one. She loves sweet potato and he will only eat broccoli."
Give it time Fearne, they'll begin to eat everything in sight!
The mum-of-two isn't the only celeb who doesn't show her children's faces on social media. Rochelle Humes rarely posts pictures of her daughters and Fearne's Celebrity Juice co-star Holly Willoughby also admitted that there's a very serious reason she won't let her children appear online.
