Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina, 37, has been branded a home wrecker after 36-year-old Ben’s marriage broke down last year.
Kristina previously enjoyed romances Vincent Simone in 2008, while he had a pregnant girlfriend, and boxer Joe Calzaghe, who ended his relationship shortly after he began working with her in 2009.
But Fern has claimed that if Kristina was a man then nobody would bat an eyelid at her private life.
She told the Mirror: “I like Kristina very much. I worked with her, shared food with her, had a laugh with her, and all I ever saw was a very nice person.
“She’s incredibly attractive, so I think it’s very easy for blokes to fall in love with her. She’s very nice, a great dancer and very funny. Had she been a bloke it would have a been a case of, ‘Good on him’.
“It’s unfortunate that because she’s glamorous, exciting and gorgeous she’s going to have this focus on her, have her private life examined as well as her dancing. It’s not fair, is it?”
Kristina and rugby hunk Ben recently confirmed their relationship, but insist things between them only became romantic after he split from wife Abby in 2014.
But scorned Abby recently suggested things started before that, telling The Sun: “My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f*****g Russian dancer.”
