Serious question: Is TOWIE's Gemma Collins morphing into the ultimate pop diva Mariah Carey?
Well, if you ask me, the answer's a pretty strong YES!
I think it's fair to say that this has been the year of Gemma Collins. GM memes (or, as Gem says, ‘me-mays’) flooded the internet, and highlighted just how funny, awesome and yes, at times insanely diva-ish, she is.

But obviously, it’s one thing being a diva, and another thing being Mariah Carey. So what makes me think that Gemma is on the road to ultimate Diva with a capital 'D' status?
Well, that would be the fact that la Collins has just shared video of herself in a bath.
The clip, which she uploaded to her Instagram page, shows Gem wallowing in a bubble bath-filled tub, while members of the TOWIE production team waft foam about with the aim of covering her modesty.
If that’s not pure dee-vah, we don’t know what is.
Now, as all true Mariah fans will know, Mimi famously slipped into her tub wearing a silk negligée during her episode of MTV cribs.
It was, clearly, one of the greatest TV moments OF ALL TIME. (Note: If this moment of diva genius somehow passed you by, check out the video above).
Now obviously, it takes a lot more than a bathtub moment to elevate one to the dizzy heights of Mariah style awesomeness (although I should point out that Gem can also has a great pair of lungs on her – check out the Instagram vid above), but I reckon this is a sign that GM has turned a corner, and is well on her way to becoming a full blow LEGEND.
