We might only be a month and a half into 2017, but there have already been more celebrity pregnancy announcements than we ever expected!
Beyonce kicked things off with her beautiful Instagram picture, telling the world that she was expecting twins with her husband, Jay Z.
This was quickly followed by Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Jason Statham’s big news, as well as The Hills star Whitney Port.
But when George and Amal Clooney revealed that they, too, were welcoming not one but two bundles of joy this year, the Internet just didn’t know what to do!
The couple’s spokespeople are yet to confirm the news, but it is known that they will welcome their babies in June.
Now, George's mother, Nina, has revealed the sex of the babies. Speaking to RadarOnline, she said: "It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told."
Aww.
Clooney's mum previously opened up about the incredible baby news. She told US Weekly: “We are extremely happy for George and Amal and I cannot imagine two people who would make better parents.
“I think he’ll be great, and she’ll be a great mum!
“We were with them and they told us together. We were all together and it was a lovely moment.”
Aw!
His mother isn't the only one who has admitted they are over the moon.
George’s best friend, Matt Damon, said: "They're going to be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky.
"I was so happy for him. And I was like, 'How far along is she?' And he goes, 'Eight weeks'.
"I said, 'Are you out of your mind? Don't tell anybody else! Don't you know the 12-week rule?' Of course he doesn't. I was like, 'just shut up, man'."
George and Amal have been married since 2014.
