Geri Horner gave birth to her little boy two weeks ago, and now she has shared the first picture of him on Instagram – and it’s very cute.
Geri and her husband, Christian, welcomed little Montague George Hector Horner into the world on 21st January, meaning that her son shares his birthday with her Spice Girls best friend, Emma Bunton.
It is said that his name is a tribute to Geri’s late friend, George Michael, and that Shakespearean nod hasn’t gone unnoticed too. Perhaps she was taking tips from former band mate, Victoria Beckham and her son Romeo?
Up to now, Geri and Christian have only shared pictures of their newborn son’s tiny toes.
But fans were over the moon when the couple decided to share the first picture of Monty.
And it’s so sweet!
“Monty is two weeks old today,” Geri captioned the cute snap.
Fans rushed to congratulate the pair.
“So small, so sweet,” one wrote.
“Ah, Geri – he’s perfect!” said another.
“God bless this beautiful family!” one commented.
We have to completely agree!
Little Monty is the couple’s first child together, although they both have daughters from previous relationships.
Geri is mother to 10-year-old Bluebell, and Christian father to three-year-old Olivia.
The 44-year-old former Spice Girl recently opened up about her happiness at conceiving naturally in her forties.
Talking to The Sunday Times, she said: "I feel incredibly lucky to have conceived naturally at my age, 44.
"I see it as a miracle.
"Trust me, I can still moan like the rest them but, equally, I remind myself every day that this is an absolute gift."
