Giovanna Fletcher has opened up in her recent YouTube video about the pressures of motherhood, and has shared some incredibly intimate and unseen family footage.
Mum to sons Buzz, two, and Buddy, seven-months, Giovanna revealed that she always wanted to be mum.
She says: “Being a mum is something I’d always dreamed.
“Then obviously it gets more serious as you get older. At some point that is your focus, that’s where your head is at. I wanted to be a mum. That was my calling.”

Including footage from the hospital after giving birth to Buddy, the 31-year-old described how being a mum has changed her life and why she shares her experience of motherhood.
“The moment I first met Buzz, it was so overwhelming,” Giovanna revealed.
“I remember laughing lots. Laughing, crying, all of the emotions.
“Even though I knew I always wanted to be a mum, that was the moment that that dream became a reality.”
However, the author admitted that she didn’t know what the reality of being a mum entailed.
“No amount of classes or anything else that you go through, will really prepare you for having a real life living thing in your arms.
"Someone to take care of. Someone that’s going to be by your side for days, weeks, months, years and years.”
Giovanna explained that mums can often feel judged, but everyone should bring up their children how they want to, and that it’s no easy ride.
After “bonding with a community” of other mums and dads through social media, who all accept everyone does what works best for them, Giovanna has decided to write a book based on her “biggest adventure to date” – being a mum.
And her supportive husband Tom Fletcher, took to Twitter to share how proud he was of his wife: “So proud of @MrsGiFletcher and can’t wait to read this (I’ve already read a little)”
