Former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas has sadly revealed that her dad has been living with cancer for a year.

Taking to Twitter, the 31-year-old poured her heart out in a series of messages, admitting that she is "emotionally and mentally" exhausted.

She wrote: "My dad has been living with cancer for a year.

"Please please please let there be a cure one day."

The mum-of-one received a great deal of support from fans, with one writing: "Surround yourself with your loved ones… create new memories and live in the day."

Another added: "My dad has been battling for over 2 years and I lost my mum to it over 10 years ago.

"Hoping one day there will be a cure."
