All mothers know the panic and distress you feel when your baby is sick, and it’s always extremely hard when you aren’t sure if they’ll be ok.

This is a feeling that Imogen Thomas knows all too well after a weekend trip to the hospital with her poorly daughter.

The Welsh model, 33, was forced to rush her six month old daughter, Siera, to the hospital to seek emergency medical attention after days of not knowing why she had fallen sick.

Earlier in the week, Imogen had posted updates on social media alerting her fans to Siera’s ill health.

She later posted a video of the baby on Instagram, writing: “My poor baby. She’s been sick all day ... Really hope she’s better a little by tomorrow. I won’t be able to sleep tonight checking her all the time #worriedmammy”

But when Siera was still unwell a few days later, Imogen decided the only thing to do was go straight to the hospital and find out what was wrong.

She took to Twitter to update her fans on the situation, and to praise the NHS for their treatment of her daughter.

“My poor girl. We are now at the hospital. The NHS are amazing. I really applaud them,” she wrote to her followers.

Holly Willoughby was in a similarly stressful situation recently when she had to rush baby Chester to hospital after a fall.

Imogen and her Australian boyfriend, Adam Horsley, welcomed Siera into the world in November, just a month before she lost her dad to cancer. They also have another gorgeous daughter, two year old Ariana.

A few hours later, Imogen informed her fans that she was back at home with Siera and she thanked the staff at Chelsea and Westminster hospital for all of their hard work and support. She had nothing but good things to say about the NHS and was more than happy to publically announce her support for all the doctors and nurses.

Imogen shot to fame in 2006 after appearing on the seventh series of popular reality TV show, Big Brother.

We hope baby Siera gets well soon.
