When Jools Oliver opened up about her miscarriage earlier this week, the wife of TV chef, Jamie Oliver, was flooded with praise for her honesty.
She has spoken about her fertility struggles previously, but it was the first time she addressed the miscarriage she suffered, saying: “I had a miscarriage at three months, which makes you so worried once you are pregnant again — it makes it impossible to enjoy the early stages of pregnancy."
But in contrast to the support Jools has been receiving from fans following her brave decision to talk about the issue, her husband Jamie has been getting nothing but stick for his latest picture on social media.
The 41-year-old chef posted a sweet snap of himself cooking whilst holding 6 month old son, River Rocket.
“Gotta start them young! … bless baby River he’s so fascinated by the cooking,” he captioned the image.
It’s something that will love familiar to many parents who try to multitask.
Although it appears to be an innocent, candid shot, one parenting expert is really not happy with it and has accused Jamie of putting his child’s safety at risk.
Sue Atkins told The Daily Mail: "It's a cute picture but underneath it there are some dangers, what if the pan suddenly started spitting?"
His fans on social media were also quick to point out the dangers.
“I once had an awful experience doing just that with my little girl,” one wrote.
“Irresponsible!” said another.
“So adorable. But PLEASE don’t hold your baby near the stove,” someone else commented.
It's not the first time he has caused a debate about parenting. Last year he defended his decision to allow his children to watch Jools giving birth.
