Talk show host Jeremy Kyle has sent the rumour mill into overdrive with rumours that he's planning to marry his children's ex-childminder
Rumours that controversial talk show host Jeremy Kyle is planning to marry his children's former nanny are heating up.
Jez, 51, started seeing Vicky Burton, his children's ex-nanny, just four months ago after his 13-year marriage to ex-model Carla Germaine broke down amid reports she'd had an affair with a younger man.
A friend of the chat show star spoke to Sunday People about the couple, saying that wedding bells were on the horizon.
The source said: "Talk of wedding bells has started. Jeremy sees a very happy future with Vicky. They're really enjoying each other’s company."
The friend went on to say that the wedding was likely to happen in Barbados, as that's where they first went on holiday together, saying: "The wedding is likely to take place in Barbados, with the ceremony or reception at Jeremy's home. Barbados is their sanctuary and was the place they could first be together openly.
"It's where they were able enjoy themselves as a new couple in love rather than staying hidden away from the public eye."
There was no overlap between the breakdown of Jeremy's marriage to Carla, who was rumoured to have cheated on Jeremy up to 20 times, and the beginning of his relationship with Vicky, as he and Carla broke up in 2015 and his liaison with Vicky was only made public in January.
He appeared on Loose Women in February to confirm that he was indeed dating Vicky, saying to the panel that, "it's a new relationship, a new chapter."
He added: "I'm very happy thank you very much, let's move on with our lives."
However, Closer Magazine reported earlier this month that Carla, 41, claimed that Vicky, 35, "copied her style" and "gradually morphed" into her.
A source revealed that Carla had seen Vicky as a "best friend" and "like a sister", saying: "Carla realises now how – during their friendship – Vicky gradually morphed into looking like her, copying her clothes and style."
Vicky stopped working for the Kyle family in April last year, where she had been looking after Carla and Jeremy's two children – Alice, 12, Ava, 11 and Henry, seven.
The friend added: "Carla and Vicky shared so many good times. But now Carla can't bear to see pictures of Vicky with her children because she finds them so upsetting.
"She still feels so angry about what has happened – after all, they were best mates for years."
