Jodie Marsh took to Twitter yesterday to reveal she has installed safety precautions to keep her home and her dogs safe.

The fitness guru recently split from husband James Placido after eight months of marriage, and felt the need to up her security.

She told her fans: “To protect myself & my animals I am having a state of the art security system fitted today by @hawkwellalarms - I finally feel SAFE!!!!!”

Jodie explained that feeling “unsafe in your own house is such a terrible feeling” and revealed what precautions she was taking to ensure her safety.

She tweeted: “So I won't tell you how many cameras I have in total but it's way into the double figures & now I have lasers, sensors, vibration detectors

“....And other amazing gadgets too! I also have panic buttons & a full alarm that goes straight to the police whilst you're being filmed....”

And Jodie then worried fans, as she revealed she had been receiving threats from someone. She said:

“So you can carry on making your threats or getting people to call me but you won't get past my security now f*cker.....”

Friend Nicola McLean then replied to Jodie saying her home had been broken into on the early hours of Tuesday, to which Jodie worriedly asked if she was OK and recommended the security team she had hired.

The model recently claimed that her ex James had taken £10,000 from her and declared that she ‘won’t be silenced’ in a series of tweets.

However it seems Jodie is in a much happier place now after installing her security measures, and is looking forward to the next chapter in her life.

Earlier she tweeted saying how happy she is, writing: “Happy happy happy. Can't stop smiling. Amazing friends and family. This one is particularly incredible > @Stanbridge_K”

And after her friend replied telling her not to wed again, she said: “I quote my fav film ‘there won't be marriage, there won't even be sex; but my god there'll be dancing!!!’”

Keeping being you, Jodie!
