Katie Price caused a lot of controversy last month when she created two of her children - Junior and Princess - Instagram accounts. Lots of people slammed her for allowing her kids on social media at such a young age (the minimum age to have an Instagram account is 13-years-old).

However, the mum-of-five to Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Jett, three and Bunny, two defended her decision to allow them to have Instagram accounts, on Loose Women she said: "I’m in no way a bad parent. I’ve got five beautiful, healthy loving very well-mannered children.

"My kids have been brought up in the industry through their dad and me, everyone knows who they are."

She continued: "They get modelling job themselves, and social media is the way forward.

"I find it an insult when people try and give me stick for how I bring up my kids. I’m a really good mum and I will protect them with my heart."

Junior and Princess’ dad Peter Andre spoke about his children in his New! magazine column explaining that even though he doesn’t let the children have phones or social media when they’re at his house, he revealed: "As a parent you have to compromise with the other parent and try to work together.

"I can only advise and encourage them – I can’t do any more."

After Junior and Princess’ accounts mysteriously disappeared, Katie then announced that both her children were back on Instagram. However, it seems that Junior’s account has been deleted again but Princess' is still active.

When you attempt to view Junior’s profile a message appears saying: "Sorry, this page isn’t available."

And now Katie has spoken to The Sun about her kids Instagram accounts:

"They’ve been taken down again because people keep complaining.

"All of Junior’s friends have Instagram. He’s sad because he feels left out because pathetic people keep reporting his profile.

"Why do they care? What’s he doing that’s so offensive to them?"
