Katie Price has named and shamed plenty of Harvey's online trolls on social media

Katie Price was recently accused of photoshopping her latest holiday snap but now the mum-of-five to Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Jett, three and Bunny, two, has used her social media platform to raise awareness to online bullying and is hoping to make it a criminal offence.

The former glamour model has shed some light on the amount of abuse she receives about her son Harvey. The 14-year-old suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome (a rare genetic disorder that means he constantly feels hungry), autism, ADHD and has problems with his eyesight.

In the past Katie has shamed online trolls who have cyber bullied her eldest son Harvey and earlier this year one of the trolls, who was a 30-year-old, lost their job because of the disgusting comments.

Katie has now urged fans to get involved with the petition. On Instagram, she explained: "My son has very complex needs and he gets online bullying trolls and people who abuse his size, colour, looks and disability.

"Harvey is very fortunate not to understand, but I do, and I will do everything in my power to make sure these trolling bullies get punished.

"Every day, people from all ages get trolling bullies for all different reasons, and a lot of it is causing suicide.

"Please let's stop this happening. It’s about time these trolls and bullies get punished."

The reality star has shared some of the awful memes on Instagram proving just how vile online trolls can be. On the petition she explained why she wants online bullying to be a criminal offence: "I have tried my best to expose people and even had two arrested but nothing was done and there were no repercussions or penalties for this behaviour.

"This abuse includes racism, homophobia, body shaming and a whole range of other hate speech."

She continued: "This petition is an important topical issue and I want it to help bring justice to everyone who has ever suffered at the hands of trolls.

"Help me to hammer home worldwide that bullying is unacceptable whether it's face to face or in an online space."

So far over 89,000 people have signed the petition and other celebrities have been getting involved to show their support. Stacey Solomon tweeted: "Signed! Amazing what you're doing @MissKatiePrice"

Karen Danczuk also wrote: "Please sign this petition for @MissKatiePrice it's fantastic that she's taking issue to parliament"

Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace said: I've had my fair share of TROLLS but to TROLL a child is VILE & should be criminal sign @MissKatiePrice petition

Love Island star Oliva Buckland has also supported the cause and tweeted: "YES! Online Trolling is a thing and it's BAD, there's so much that you don't see!"
