After posting a series of images showing off 10-year-old daughter Heidi’s makeup skills, Kerry Katona has faced a series of critical comments on her Instagram page
Having just gone public on Instagram with her new man, the former Atomic Kitten star took to her feed to show off her youngest daughter’s glamorous look, captioning the posts “stunning is not the word to describe the beauty of my Heidi!!!”.
But, the 37-year-old seemed to cause debate amongst her followers surrounding the controversial topic of letting a young child wear makeup.
Heidi, who’s dad is Kerry)’s ex-husband Mark Croft, appears in the shots with a smoky eye and styled hair.
One follower commented “Way too much makeup!”, while another posted “too young for makeup”.
But, some of Kerry’s loyal fans jumped to her defence with a series of comments justifying that wearing makeup is a part of growing up. One said “don’t listen to the haters they’re just very jealous and need to get over themselves. Keep doing what you’re doing @kerrykatona7 you have a beautiful family”.
Another said; “why pull her up on her makeup? She’s a child, having a bit of fun. There’s a saying ‘it’s nice to be nice’, leave the little lass alone”.
