Khloe Kardashian is one of our favourite Kardashian sisters; she has an amazing body, one of the cutest nephews, her latest hair makeover makes us want to cut our hair short and she's now opened up about her 'painful' skin cancer scare.

In Keeping Up With The Kardashians the family have previously mentioned that Khloe "had a brush with cancer," but now the 32-year-old has spoken out about her medical history.

On her website and app she revealed: "I have moles everywhere, and a couple years ago, I noticed one growing under my breast.

"I immediately looked it up online and found that if a mole is growing and changing shape, you should go to the doctor - so I did."

Luckily when the doctor removed the mole they found out that it was benign.

However, she later had an encounter with skin cancer and after finding out that a mole on her back was skin cancer, so she "had eight inches of skin removed."

She confessed: "It was definitely painful because it was a lot of skin, but most of the time, the removals haven't been that bad.

"Now that I've gone through this a couple of times, I am extra aware of my skin, body and moles."

The reality star has encouraged fans to make sure they get checked frequently.

Even though she hasn't had a scare in years she told fans if something doesn't look right: "Take action and take care of your health!"

Other celebrities such as former TOWIE stars - Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann - have spoken out about skin cancer too.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world, so make sure you get checked.

The NHS has advised using sunscreen, dressing sensibly, avoiding sunbeds and sunlamps and limiting your time in the sun during the hottest part of the day.
